For those who goes to JB, you can try the small noodle stall beside the Hong Kong Cafe at level 3 of City Square. I never liked the HongKong food there, wonder why the business is always so good. It's just Nissin with luncheon meet and XiaoBaiCai.. hahaha I know how to whip that up too.
Assam Laksa and Tom Yam noodles. Very nice. Trust me on this =)
Lunch at Vivo (City Square, not Vivocity!) was only OK, nothing awesome. The Al Funghi pasta was acceptable, but the only problem with the Fish fillet Panini was just a little too small. Haa or is it that I have a huge appetite?
After walking for an hour or so we got really tired (so fast!) hahaha, so it's taitai-in-the-making time. Too bad Ling couldn't join us, cause she would be the best example!!

Another restaurant that I love going is Crystal Jade JiangNan Cuisine at Ngee Ann City. It's not an everyday-restaurant cause I will go broke very soon if I do that. Food is absolutely delightful! Plus the good service, it's worth going back again. The thing I like best about the place is the endless choice of cuisines- Beijing, Sze Chuan, Guang Dong etc. You name the province, they should have it. They have the usual dimsum and XiaoLongBao too. Quality is no doubt top-notch. If you are a soup-lover like me too, you've gotta try the double-broiled shark's fin! Hahaha it's the biggest and most intact piece of fin I have tasted. You can even forget about the fin because all the essence is in the soup itself! With that many hours boiling, even the bones would have melted.
These are some that I've ordered:
Deep fried fish head with salted veg & deep fried lotus with shrimp paste. hehe yup all deep fried.... even the dessert is fried. For the dessert, you can find it in the normal Crystal Jade- Fried banana and red bean paste ball. haha of course nice la, if not why would I order right..
